From the ceo
Modern business has changed so much in the past few decades that what once we thought we knew, now is called into question constantly. The book printing industry has not been immune. I founded Four Colour Print Group in 1985 with the belief that we would have the flexibility to respond to rapidly changing technology, fluctuation of world currencies, and the unpredictable vicissitudes of our market economy. We continue to bring our customers the finest book printing services available anywhere in the world, as we work with old partners and bring on new ones. We constantly seek out ways to reduce costs, improve delivery schedules, and boost our superb quality.
However, there are some elements of business that should never change. Integrity, respect for the customer, fairness, and mutual understanding of the challenges all businesses face are rigid principles we will never compromise. Ultimately, I believe these fundamental beliefs do more to ensure the longevity of an enterprise than any technological or market advantage the business may temporarily possess. I take particular pride in the towering ethical standards that all of our business partners and Four Colour employees possess and practice. This is the bulwark that has allowed us not only to withstand the force of competition, but has provided the energy and strength for us to grow and prosper with our loyal customers.Customer service
You can count on
One of the areas that sets Four Colour Print Group apart from other traditional overseas "brokers" is our exceptional customer service. Whereas some Asian printers expect publishers to work directly with their plants in China, we know from experience how the language barriers and cultural differences make this difficult. Email communication is often misunderstood, and phone calling to Asia after hours presents problems of its own. Lost time means lost money in book publishing.
Four Colour has an in-house staff of experienced production managers who handle your project from order confirmation through delivery to your door. Publishers get answers NOW from friendly and knowledgeable customer service reps...without having to wonder if their email to China will receive a response. And with FCI Digital, our prepress company in Ohio, providing tech support by phone during the critical prepress and proofing stage, we head off trouble before your job arrives overseas. Let us worry about the myriad details of book manufacturing...we'll keep you informed, and we'll get the job done right the first time.
